TODAY AT IRWIN:

  • Happy Birthday to Grady Henderson.  Please come down to the office for your birthday pencil.
  • Store will be open today during morning break.
  • Grade 9 registration forms are due on Friday. Please return them to your homeroom teacher.
     
  • Grade 2 swimming lessons will continue today and tomorrow.
     
  • STEAM Club today at lunch in the Art Room, beginning at 11:50am.
     
  • K-Kidz Bake Sale on today at noon.   Baked goods will be sold for $1 each.   Baking for the K-4 students will be sold in the downstairs hallway.  Baking for Grades 5 - 8 will be sold in the front foyer.  All proceeds going to Telemiracle. 
     
  • Senior Boys Basketball practice today after school from 3:15 – 5:00pm.
     
  • Intermediate Boys Red Basketball practice tomorrow morning at 7:00am.
     
  • There will be a Duck-Cover-Hold Drill tomorrow morning at 8:45am.
     
  • Grade 5 Skating tomorrow afternoon at Riverdene.   Please remember to bring your warm clothes, mitts, toques and helmets.   Helmets are MANDATORY.   Students will walk to the rink, leaving at 12:30pm.
     
  • Senior Girls Basketball game tomorrow after school at Irwin.
     
  • Intermediate Girls White Basketball game tomorrow after school at All Saints.
     
  • Intermediate Girls Red Basketball game tomorrow after school at Fairview.
     
  • Grade 7 Ski Trip to Elkwater on Friday.    Bus will be leaving Irwin at 7am.
     
  • Intermediate Boys White Basketball practice Friday after school from 3:30 – 4:30.
     
  • Intermediate Girls Red Basketball practice Friday after school from 3:30 – 4:30.
     
  • Winter Break next week.  No school Friday 19th – 23rd.
     
  • Classes Resume on Monday, February 26th.   This will be Day 4 on the school calendar.
     
  • Crosswalks are designed to keep pedestrians together where they can be seen by motorists and where they can cross the street most safely. Lately, there has been an increase in people crossing in the middle of the street. It is important that all students, staff, and parents use crosswalks when crossing the street for their own safety, and to set a safe example for others.
