TODAY AT IRWIN:

• Happy Birthday today to Rylan Hildebrand, Margo Juuti and Leslie Levorson-Wong.  Happy Birthday to Connor Jesney and Izaac McPherson who celebrated over the weekend.   Please come down to the office to get your birthday pencil.

• Safety Patrollers please come to the office following this morning's announcements to sign up for shifts for the week.
   
• Store will be open today during morning break.
   
• Grade 8 Consents for Immunizations this morning during Periods 1 and 2.  Bonnie Shaw from Cypress Health Region will be presenting to each class, beginning with 83's.    Each presentation will be about 20 minutes.

• Senior Boys Basketball game today after school in Herbert.
   
• Intermediate Boys Red AND White Basketball games today after school at Irwin.
   
• Toast Tuesday tomorrow morning beginning at 8am.    Please remember to clean up and put all garbage away before leaving the foyer.
   
• Curling for Grade 6 – 8 students tomorrow after school.   Please be at the Iplex at 4pm and remember to bring along a clean pair of running shoes.
   
• Kids in the Kitchen tomorrow after school from 3:15 – 4:30pm.
   
• Senior Girls Basketball practice tomorrow after school from 3:15 – 5:00pm.
   
• Shop Club for Grade 8 students tomorrow after school.
   
• Intermediate White Girls Basketball practice Wednesday morning at 7:15am.
   
• Senior Boys Basketball practice Wednesday after school from 3:15 – 5:00pm.

• Shelter-In-Place Drill - As part of our school safety plan we will be holding a Shelter-In-Place drill on Wednesday, January 24th at 8:45am.

Shelter-in-Place is required when it is more harmful to evacuate the building than to remain inside (e.g., severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, high winds). Staff and students will move to a predetermined safe zone within the school.
