TODAY AT IRWIN:

• Happy Birthday to Journey Kruse, Owen Ruehs and Emma Weppler who all celebrated this past Saturday.   Please come down to the office for your birthday pencil.

• Recycling – Please place your recycling bins outside your classroom doors for pick-up this morning.
  
   
• Store will be open today during morning break.
  
   
• There will be drama practice today after school in the band room.
  
   
• Online booking for SLCs will open on today and closes on Friday.    Please refer to SLC note that went home beginning of the month or on the school's website for more information.     
  
   
• Curing Club today after school beginning at 4pm at the Iplex.  Please make sure to bring your indoor running shoes.
  
   
• Kids in the Kitchen today after school.
  
   
• Active Play tomorrow after school for Grades 3 – 6.   The program runs from 3:15 – 5:15.
  
   
• Please sign up for Senior Boys Basketball across from the office.   First tryout is on Thursday, November 23^rd. 
  
   
• Senior Girls Basketball Sign-up sheets are posted across from the office.    First tryout is on Tuesday, November 21^st.
  
   
• School Dance is Thursday, November 23^rd.  Dance Invites are now available in the office.   Also, if you will be arriving late or leaving early, please sign the Late/Early List that is also in the office.

• Poetry Contest

• $400 first prize, $350 second prize, $300 third prize. All Irwin submissions entered into a book draw.
• Grade 7 and 8 students who are interested in entering poetry into the Jesemy Stursberg National Poetry Contest please ask your ELA teacher or Mr. Biem for information.

• The Young Writers Poetry Contest – for all students in Kindergarten – Grade 8.   See your teacher or Mr. Biem for details.
