TODAY AT IRWIN:

• Happy Birthday to Violet Van Moorlehem and Roman Woelk.   Please come down to the office for your birthday pencil.

• Library Club today at lunch.
  
   
• Drama practice today at noon in the band room.
  
   
• Fire Drill will take place this afternoon at 1:45pm.
  
   
• Active Play Program for Grade 3 – 6 students today after school from 3:15 – 5:15pm. 
  
   
• Swift Current Broncos Lung All Stars Pledge envelopes are due back tomorrow.
  
   
• The Intermediate Girls volleyball teams (Red and Black) will finish the season with a final match tomorrow after school from 3:30 – 4:30pm.  Please return your washed jerseys back to school ASAP.  Wear gym clothes for the games tomorrow.
  
   
• City League playoffs – Girls - tomorrow after school.

• ​Poetry Contest

• $400 first prize, $350 second prize, $300 third prize. All Irwin submissions entered into a book draw.
• Grade 7 and 8 students who are interested in entering poetry into the Jesemy Stursberg National Poetry Contest please ask your ELA teacher or Mr. Biem for information.

• The Young Writers Poetry Contest – for all students in Kindergarten – Grade 8.   See your teacher or Mr. Biem for details.

• Please sign up for Senior Boys Basketball across from the office.   First tryout is on Thursday, November 23^rd. 
  
   
• Senior Girls Basketball Sign-up sheets are posted across from the office.    First tryout is on Tuesday, November 21^st.
   
• Remembrance Day Assembly – Friday at 10:30am.   Students and Staff are asked to dress formally.
