Band on Friday will be as follows:

          Grade 6:  Band A / Band B

          Grade 7:  Band A

          Grade 8:  Full Band

TODAY AT IRWIN:

• Last day of Grade 2 swimming lessons is today.
• The store will be open today during morning and afternoon break.
• Grade 8 students interested in auditioning for the SCCHS Chamber Singers, auditions will take place next Thursday, June 8^th @ 3:30pm in the SCCHS Music Room.    Any student who is interested in auditioning, please come to the office for more information.
• June Newsletter went home yesterday with students and is now posted on the website.
• 2017/2018 Kindergarten Orientation is taking place today.   If you see new little faces around the school, please make them feel welcome.    Ms. McWillie's Kindergarten class today and Mrs. Dyck's Kindergarten class on tomorrow will be cancelled due to the orientation.
• Outdoor Ed Tent Set-up will be on tomorrow.
• Band "Treen's Meat Fundraiser" arrives today. Parents can pick up orders between 3:00 and 7:00 pm from the old Full Line Ag location (625 North Railway Street).   Please make other arrangements if you are not available to pick up your orders.
• Irwin Middle Years Track Day is Wednesday, June 7^th.  You will be signing up for events with your homeroom teacher.  All students can sign up between 3-6 events.  Records in each event is posted outside of the office and at the top of the student stairs.
  
   
  
  A reminder to all students that Track Day will mean something different to everyone.  Some of you will be aiming for personal bests, some will be trying to beat previous records, some of you will be looking to cheer on your friends and classmates and some will be looking forward to a day outside and getting the opportunity to try something new!  We hope that everyone can enter the day with a positive attitude.​
