"Hockey Day in Canada" coloring contest pics – collection basket at the office. Last night our families were emailed home full details of Hockey Day in Canada as it pertains to happenings at ÉCS! So exciting! Also, Gr 4 – 8 families were emailed home the "Ask an Alumni" questionnaire. If your family has a question to submit, there is a collection basket at the office for that too!

Mrs. Collins will soon be gearing up for Music Festival which happens in March!
Stars Choir on Day 2 @ 12:20 8th Notes Choir on Day 4 @ 11:57 and we just found out the 8th Notes will be singing O Canada at the Bronco game January 30th!
SLC News:
SLC meeting for all Sr SLC members and any other interested students TODAY at noon in the Library with Mme Marchand.
Cooking Club:
Grade 7/8 cooking club will be TODAY from 3:05-5:00. Sign up on cooking lab door.
Debate Club – Wednesdays from 3:05 – 4:15pm in the Library. NO debate club Jan. 23! It should resume January 30 and is expected to run every Wednesday 'til March/April.
Poetry Club - Any Gr 5-8 students interested in Poetry Club come to Ms Linklater's room on Day 3. Bring your lunch!

BAND: Sr Jazz Band is every Wed morning at 7:30am.
Junior Jazz begins Thursday, January 17 at 7:30am in the band room. It is open to any Grade 6 or Grade 7 band students who would like to play some fun jazz music once a week on Thursday mornings. Please see Mr. Kuglin for a note with all the details.
