On Thursday, November 8, 2018, the Chinook School Division and Holy Trinity Catholic School Division boards officially signed a new Student Conveyance Agreement. This is a unique partnership. Our new agreement between the two school divisions provides for Chinook to transport all eligible Holy Trinity students in Swift Current and area to All Saints School.
Chinook assumed responsibility for the operation of all city routes in Fall 2018 from the previous contractor, which has enabled the transportation department to run reliable bus services for students in a more cost-efficient manner.
With a common goal of ensuring all students have the opportunity to learn and succeed, the school boards have had a long-standing relationship and enjoyed partnering on various initiatives over the years.
