Attention: Parents/Guardians of City of Swift Current School Bussed Students
You should have received a letter in the mail from the Transportation Department indicating your child’s bussing information for the 2016-17 school year.
If you require any changes, please contact fbochek@chinooksd.ca or 306-778-9200 ext. 3281 by AUGUST 15. If you received your letter and require no changes, no action is required.
PLEASE NOTE: You must make contact with the Chinook Transportation Department by August 15 in order for student transportation to be in place on the first day of school (September 1). In an effort to minimize service disruptions during the first few days of school, any changes or new requests submitted after August 15 will be implemented on September 12.

*UPDATE on 2nd Avenue Overpass Rehabilitation Project
The City of Swift Current announced that the overpass construction is delayed, with a new target date of September 16, 2016. The impact on bus routes will be minimal:
• Pick-up times for two south side stops for Bus #1013 to All Saints and École Centennial will be approximately 10 minutes earlier. Those families are being contacted directly by the transportation department.
• We have again made arrangements for our north side route drivers to park buses in the iPlex parking lot.
