​As grade 12 students prepare for post-secondary programs in the fall, Innovation Credit Union is pleased to help fund further education with 13 scholarships of $1,000 each to students entering their first year of post-secondary school in 2020/2021! To better serve our members who are home schooling and social distancing, we have made adjustments to our Scholarship Program this year to make it easier for students to apply from home including:

•  Creating a fully digital application process – no computers, printers, or physical mail required,
• Adjusting the written essay component to a 30 second selfie video to ensure students can apply using only a cell phone,
• Offering direct deposit to award scholarships in lieu of awards ceremonies – planning to celebrate on Social Media instead, and
• Extending the application deadline to May 31, 2020 to allow students time to adjust to new routines at home.
