It takes a village to raise a child, a time tested adage I live by.  Having owned and operated a day home deepened my commitment to and understanding of child first care and development. I pride myself with being a voice for children, especially those who struggle with learning difficulties, as a parent who has had to navigate this in my own family.  Saskatchewan families face many struggles and hardships, being a widowed, single mother of two beautiful young ladies, I understand challenges, as well as the perseverance and dedication it requires to overcome obstacles in our paths; You can count on that tenacity to be on the side of our children and schools.

My resolute involvement in numerous community and school based organizations, have been productive and informative as to how effective organisations need to, as well as should not, operate. I understand how to encourage organizations to run with ease while achieving the goals they set out to accomplish.  

Communication and inclusion are crucial to building stronger connections between the classroom and the kitchen table; you and your family can count on me to be your strong and responsive advocate for our children and our communities.
