Creating a New Page

There are several ways of creating a new page:

Method 1

• In the search bar on the left side, type in the name of the page you wish to create
• When the search engine fails to find the page, it will report, "There is no page titled "your search term". You can create this page.
• Click on create this page, and you will be taken to the edit screen for your new page.

Method 2

• In the address bar of your browser, delete the name of the page you are currently viewing, leaving only http://chinooksd.ca/wiki/
• Now type in the name of the page you wish to create after the last slash. Keep in mind that the page you create will have the exact title you type in as a page name, including capitalization.
• Press enter to go to your newly created page
• Once again, you will arrive at the edit screen for your new page.

Method 3

• While editing an existing page, create a link to the page you wish to create.
• When you finish editing the page, you will note that the link you just created appears in red.
• Click on this link
• Again, you will arrive at the edit screen for your new page.

No matter which method you use, be sure to scroll to the bottom of the edit screen and press the SAVE button when you are done editing.
